GLS End-to-End Supply Chain Equipment Management Solution
SUPPLY OF EQUIPMENT
Identifying a uniquely tailored equipment solution with our customer and supplying the solution based on different potential models. A choice of either purchasing, renting the equipment from GLS or a hybrid model. We take pride in supplying a good quality product to do the right job.
Adopting a vested outsource model to manage the physical movement of equipment through agreed parts of the supply chain and ensuring safe handling of assets. This also includes looking after the assets, doing continuous maintenance and ensuring that equipment is issued in a good, clean and workable condition. All operational movements are captured on G-track to provide systematic support to the physical movements.
Utilising captured data and data received from the customers’ operating system, in order to manage the balances of equipment throughout the supply chain. In detail perusing transaction, discrepancies and balances. In addition managing immediate daily demand planning, required vs available, and future pool based demand planning, sufficient equipment in pool.
PROCESS ANAYSIS & CONTINUOUS SUPPORT
Identifying process deviations, allocating risk rating and proposing mitigation. Always striving for continuous improvement, recognising the need for change; we assess the potential improvements, design the change, implement according to plan, manage the change and at the end evaluate the outcome. Taking our learnings from this we restart the process.
Supplying daily and weekly reports to ensure clear visibility of the supply chain and the management thereof. Providing monthly billing based on an agreed model, for either owned equipment, issued to vendors or stores, or rental equipment.
